Usages:
For isolation for Salmonella (except S. typhi).
Principle:
Peptone provides the carbon and nitrogen; sodium chloride maintains osmotic equilibrium; lactose, sucrose, sugars that can be fermented; phenol red indicator in yellow when pH6.8, pH8.1 pink, acid-producing fermentable sugars colonies yellow, not red colonies fermentable sugar; brilliant green against Gram-positive bacteria and most non-Salmonella Gram-negative bacilli.

How to use?
1. Suspend 54.7g in 1 L of distilled water, stirring heated to boiling until completely dissolved, dispensing flask, 121 ? autoclaves for 15min.
2. Diluted and treated samples.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light. Storage period of 3 years.
